| slugfest2015, I'm assuming you mean the one I drafted this season... Sadly, the reason I released him was because I currently have a surplus in the 2B position in both the Major and Minor league level. | ||

| 2021: 14-1 13-0 12-2 11-4 10-1 2020: 14-2 13-1 12-1 11-5 10-1 2019: 14-0 13-4 12-2 11-4 10-0 I've been looking at this myself recently. Despite what people think, these don't even out over time. It will be interesting to see what we find. |

Real problem is that most of those low ones were all the pitching I drafted. |

| Sounds interesting, here are my statisctics from 2017 (when i took the team). in 2017 i drafted a player with 12 pot and now is 104 SI (13 pot), but i listed him as 12 2021: 15: 0 14: 2 13: 1 12: 4 11: 2 10: 0 Draftees Kept: 5/9 2020: 15: 0 14: 2 13: 2 12: 2 11: 4 10: 0 Draftees Kept: 4/10 2019: 15: 1 14: 1 13: 2 12: 3 11: 1 10: 2 Draftees Kept: 6/10 2018: 15: 2 14: 1 13: 2 12: 4 11: 1 10: 0 Draftees Kept: 7/10 2017: 15: 0 14: 0 13: 2 12: 8 11: 0 10: 0 Draftees Kept: 8/10 Total: 15: 3 14: 6 13: 9 12: 21 11: 8 10: 2 Draftees Kept: 30/49 EDIT: one side note. | I didn't get super deep into the actual players but here are the potential and averages for each year. Looks like I took a couple years off or something based on the numbers lol. | Can only go back to 2018 as that was my first full season. 2021 AVG 12.6 14 - 1 13 - 4 12 - 2 11 - 1 2020 AVG 12.4 14 - 2 13 - 2 12 - 4 11 - 2 2019 AVG 12.6 15 - 1 14 - 3 12 - 4 11 - 1 10 - 1 2018 AVG 12.1 13 - 3 12 - 5 11 - 2 Remarkably consistent overall average for me (though different ways of getting there). I remember 2018 being a terrible year for me and only 1 guy survives on my roster. I believe there was too much talent coming through at one point (every team shouldn't be full of 13+ Potential guys in my opinion) so if there has been a slow reduction it's probably for the best. |

| I wasn't going to do this because I am okay with the shrunken draft pool but I actually found it to be an informative exercise. And yes the draft pool did shrink for this season. However after looking at the available data I am not convinced the smaller pool will actually have the impact I guessed it would, namely an overall reduction in average potential of players. I will post my draft stats next. |
