newtman Joined: 11/02/2013 Posts: 3343 Inactive	Two things: 1) it counts experience by Fridays at the major league level, so if he was down in the minors at the update that week wouldn't count. 2) Experience was only implemented around the 2010 game season, thus why no one is over 11 seasons.

admin Joined: 01/27/2010 Posts: 4985 Administrator	Keandre Roberts is the oldest active player by about 2 years. There are about 30 players that are 40+ years old. The reason he doesn't have 20 years of experience (as pointed out above), is that we didn't start counting until about midway through his long career. Same issue with loyalty (years with club). Jalapeno5 Joined: 06/01/2014 Posts: 226 Inactive	Interesting (if slightly morbid) point, unless a player's age stopped increasing on their card at retirement, there must be something in place to stop them going forever. Been advocating for a while the option to retire players to management and back-office roles - think that would be a nice touch; not quite sure how those roles would manifest, but even if they were cosmetic it would still be quite fun.

wuggla Joined: 05/10/2013 Posts: 1059 Colorado Springs Vultures VI.28	so since 2010 season count for league play only in exp? so most exp is 12years 2022? so does any one have 28 year olds with 12 exp? wich would mean you started a 16 year in league in 2010 and is 28 now still playing 2022?
