Holmes, I had a really good training update and last week's pick was a solid player, just a bad fit for my team, so I'm not going to complain too much. Would be nice to get one star draft pick per season to build around though. Every week that you get a marginal 12 talent, that franchise making pick gets less and less likely.

Even with that "always will be a poor fielder" I'd stick a guy with 17 range and 19 arm in center field unless you have a great center fielder, because his range and arm will make up for the occasional misjudged ball. You'll be seeing a lot of nailing guys at home with him.

5' 7" huh? Hope he has great vertical leap. Good luck with him, hope he works out for you despite the size deficiency.

Have you seen height actually matter in this game? That's really the biggest problem you have with him, a factor that doesn't really play in that much? Fair enough.

Strike zone would be smaller for a shorter player in RL right?

In RL, yes, that would be the positive. From what I've seen the height hasn't seemed to come into play in either fielding or batting in the game much more than maybe tiny weighted variable.

hum wasn't being sarcastic but I guess the low fielding isn't as horrid as I thought then?
