How do players get experience exactly? I have a player who has 1 year of experience but pitched in the majors for the first time this year. I think he would be the rookie of the year as he pitched 120+ innings with a 12-2 record and a sub 3 era. I think I might have promoted him for a short time last year just to make room for a draft pick on my roster but I never played him. Does that make him ineligible for rookie of the year?

Are you talking about Greg Stark? His eligibility will depend on how many days (actually training/financial updates) he was on the team the previous season. If he was only called up at the end of the season, he should still be eligible.

Thank you Steve for the reply. He won so I guess he was called up late enough.
