admin Joined: 01/27/2010 Posts: 4980 Administrator | Injuries are probably shorter, but more frequent in Broken Bat than in real baseball. This was done primarily because people feel that long-term injuries are unfair. Additionally, frequent short-term injuries force teams to have a bench and also provides a way to simulate “days off” players receive periodically. Mostly full time starters should play ~150 games a season if they don’t have any longer injuries. Very few players will play all 160 league games. Steve |

I have not really noticed this to be the case. If it is not part of the game I think it should be added. There are some players in real life who just seem to have a hard time playing more than 130-140 games per year (howie kendrick, troy tulowitzki, ian kinsler) and there are others who play 160 almost every year (robinson cano, starlin castro).
