| Yoshio Sakei of the Springfield Stallions has now pitched in 12 of the team's 14 games. At his current rate he will pitch 301 innings this year. His scouting report says he can throw all day .... but all day every day? | ||

| I will look into it. Right now there is no usage penalty to repeated pitching performances. There will be in the future though. To reduce relief pitcher usage, you can increase the pitch count and hook of your starting pitchers. Steve |

| The RH setup man now pitches most of the relief innings, with the LH setup man pitching most of the rest. The other relievers hardly pitch. I suppose this is something you hope to fix soon. Cosmetic point: the green on gray of the menu box to the left strains my eyes. Enjoy your game quite a bit so far, though the improvements are maddeningly slow. I figure you're doing all the programming yourself and that you probably have a paying job. Thanx! |

| From the management page, adjust your first inning for those pitchers (RH & LH Setup man, Closer) to something later in the game like the 5th through 7th inning. Also, if you haven’t done so, click the closer box for your closer. That should better prioritize who pitches when. Also, you can adjust each pitchers hook and pitch count to reflect how long you’d like them to pitch. I realize that development is slow…I’d love to send more time on it. But it’s kind of a labor of love and it’s just me learning as I go. Anyway, I realize it’s far from complete, but if you have suggestions, please let me know in the suggestion forum. At present, I’m fixing a few critical bugs and then will finish the roster management for bot teams. There is also a list of about 20 things that are near term goals. Steve |
