| All my starters are set to 7 and for some reason Cantu has been removed after giving up 4 runs in each of his last two starts, and with only 0-1 baserunners. So he doesnt have a hook anymore. He is pitching quite poorly to start the season but I think he will turn it around |

| From the manual: Basically, the pitcher is replaced if either of the following conditions are true: - 2 * Earned Runs > Hook - Total Runs + Base Runners > Hook In Cantu's recent start, he gave up 4 earned runs, so we look at the first bullet point. 2*4 earned runs was higher than the 7 hook you set for him, so the manager pulled him out because he was higher than the 7 hook you set. |

| Well I always thought it was when Runs + base runners exceeded hook. Apparently allowing "earned runs" yields more punishment. Thanks for pointing that out | ||
