JV-Tosshin Joined: 11/11/2020 Posts: 297 Biloxi Thresher Sharks V.15	I'm interested in knowing some opinions here, seeing as I have quite a few starters who are 32 and up and beginning to decline. When does the salary hit become to high for y'all if you have a declining player? Is it more related to performance, or do they just become too risky error-wise over time? Is it different depending in position? (F.e. is it different to shell out 1.7 mill each for 2 33-year old pitchers than 1.9 mill for a 32-year old DH) I would like to just know some opinions in this generally, but I can provide some specific examples if that helps visualise things.

Or maybe you have a young Major leaguer you think is ready to make the jump, so you let the declining guy go and put your younger guy in. Too much salary, you go bankrupt.
