Huaraches25 Joined: 05/01/2016 Posts: 151 Inactive | So it turns out I have too many lefty bats especially among outfielders but some of these guys have really high hitting attributes but havent really hit leftys in the majors so far In real life I feel like the best hitters are still capable of hitting against leftys in an above average to good level despite the matchup Should: http://brokenbat.org/player/238233/M Borrego, http://brokenbat.org/player/238581/M Martin And http://brokenbat.org/player/254515 Hagen when he comes up get more at bats vs leftys All of them have decent averages in the minors vs leftys but I dont know what the ops looks like against leftys or how many at bats they have gotten vs leftys. Borrego and Martin have much worse numbers vs leftys since hitting the major leagues |

Rock777 Joined: 09/21/2014 Posts: 9600 Haverhill Halflings III.1 | No such thing as too many lefties For me OF is prime platooning. A lefty who can't hit lefties just gets pulled early. But probably does a number against righties while he is in. I always strive to have 3/4 lefty OFs (depending on what my DH situation looks like). If you mouse over the stat values, you can see break downs for most. For instance Hagan has 506 ABs against lefties in the minors. Borrego only had 140 ABs against lefties in the minors. Martin had 95. |

Huaraches25 Joined: 05/01/2016 Posts: 151 Inactive | Okay thanks! My main concern was if I wanted to put them in my lefty lineup but since they both have plenty of atbats it looks like they are being subbed in when teams switch to rightys so i might not bother. |
