I have a 68 year old manager. Is it automatic that he will retire by age 70 at the latest? Or could be manage into his 70's? Will there be any warning? What should I roughly expect? Thanks!

I would presume that

1. He’ll retire at age 70. That’s what the game manual more or less says.
2. He’ll begin regression, like a Broken Bat player, to the point where he becomes useless.

Sorry for providing a complete non-answer, but I would presume he regresses beginning at 70.

I had Llamas until he was 76. Hard to say with any certainty what impact "He is getting to the age where his ability to manage is limited" has what with managers being a bit of a black box, but I'm guessing there is an impact of some sort.

Yeah, I imagine it as skill depreciation in the 70s (like players) until you get to the point where he’s worthless. Sort of like this guy.

Obviously, he’s a pitcher, but still, his decline is how I’d imagine a manager would decline.

And they are very close to the same age :)

Do you think it will it be the same as a players skill degeneration, where you can actually see the skill decreases when they happen?

Eh, you’ll see the ratings decrease, I think.

I don't think so. Haselrig would know best since he kept a guy to 76, but I don't think you see any visible change. Might still be stuff happening behind the scenes.

Eh, true, I’m making educated guesses and Rock is not.

Rock is probably right.
