Ken_Kennilworth Joined: 11/26/2019 Posts: 400 Charleston Hawks II.1	What skills does a Manager's "Player Development" ability impact? I suspect that effects all of the hitting skills. Am I right? I feel that way because the other abilities (fielding & pitching) are specified. And if i am right, why isn't the ability just labeled hitting or offense? I suspect the manager had only 1 ability when the game was first released, and later releases broke out the fielding & pitching abilities to separate categories.

You are correct "KK" Ken Killiworth their was a time when manager only had player development 4 skill hit,def,pit,&dev now we have 6 skills. Steve never changed wording for hitting. Not sure this manager I got is the first one with the 2 new skills he has improved my pitchers in minors so it is working. I have also notable that "bot" teams are dumping the oldest manager for the newly created ones so eventually all the older ones will be retired.
