My minors are absolutely non-existent. Is there a way to have a better chance of finding good players in the draft?

Thanks

Think it's just random chance to be honest. I've had some luck in the Latin academy lately but I'm sure there's a real science to deciding which pool to draft from

Na. Its just luck. I get virtually nothing from the draft. The place to get good prospects is on waivers.

Make sure to look at the POT 12s. That is where you find the most talent. But with that many spots I would be looking in the POT 11s too. Even POT 10s can sometimes be good (POT can be off by a couple points in the new system).

I used to go Asian early, American middle and Latin late. Don't think it matters as much under the new draft.

Used to be that the first round was right when the flip finished, there was a dead week, and then the second week was the second Friday of the season. When the draft was reduced to just eight rounds, the first and last draft were taken out, which effectively moved the first round to that second Friday after the flip.

 tl;dr: September 11.
