I thought he should have been a good find but with him and having 5 All Stars 2nd most to only the top team that had 6 I feel I should have placed better then 4th. The only things I feel that might be missing is either manager or ball park. Thanks in advance for your help.

A VERY quick scout of your roster gives me a couple of themes: There's not a lot of guys with high hitting ratings currently Looks like you're slowly working on getting your defense sorted, i.e. Guinn moving to fulltime SS - this will take time but worth it, and you'll see the improvements continuously. Your pitching looks fine although too many HR's given up Given your lack of power, decent range and tendency to give up the long ball, I'd be tempted to go for an even bigger park until you get that tendency down. And I don't know what your pitching settings are, but my gut feel is that they may need some tinkering also - everyone has their own unique ways of doing this, happy to share mine over PM if you like!
