When you look at a player's Overall Player Development graph, there's a marker on the right that indicates an SI level. What does the placement of that marker show?

SI stands for "Skill Index" which is a roll up of all the player's ratings. Its telling you what the players Skill Index is at each time point.

No, I'm talking about the marker to the right. Sometimes, it's at the top of the player's line and sometimes it's above

I thought it represented a ceiling of some sort?

Like this minor leaguer that I have. POT 13 and marker on the right of his graph currently indicating 59.

It is just the legend for the graph. It tells you what color line to look for on the graph. This feature is more helpful, and more evident, on the graphs below. It does not indicate what the current or potential SI of the player is.

Yes, just the legend.
