If I have a RHB and he's hitting .320 against LHP and .205 against a RHP I have no problem with making the decision to platoon him only against LHP's. But where is that line where most managers will play a batter every day? If he hits .250 against a SHP? .275? This question is irrespective of training issues; let's assume everyone is fully trained. Thank you.

I go with a heavy platooning policy, so if someone else hits better, I go with them. Don't ignore stuff like OPS and OBP though. Its nice to have some high OBP guys to get on base so the high OPS guys can knock them in.
