I recommend to keep him. He has played great defense in his time with the team.

If you wanted to make some cuts, I'd suggest to cut players that are 31 and older and sign some younger players once waivers and free agency open up next season.

Agree with Pig re: your shortstop -- keep him and play him

the player is an elite defender at short, also he has league average On-Base skills and plus-plus bat contact & plate discipline.

If anything I would bat him right after your base-stealer (Solano) so I could play hit and run thus compensate for lack of power

Agreed, he's a keeper - if anything he could do with a lefty hitting platoon partner so he could shift into a more part time role, but given that's one of the hottest commodities in BB, good luck with that! I'd be playing him either in the Number 2 role as suggested, or at No.9, using his OBP to treat him as another lead off guy.

I'd keep him. Good middle infielder and good OBP and BB rate. Be nice if he stole bases or had a better SLG, but I would not cut him unless I found someone better.

“If he goes, there will be trouble” The Clash, right?

You should bat him ninth because he is a great glove. Whatever offense he delivers is a bonus. Most shortstops are two or three tool players.

And if he stays, will he hit doubles?
