That said, if the player has excellent amateur stats (low FIP, low HRs allowed, etc.) you might take him and hope his potential refines upwards. There was a 10 pot I really liked on my list a couple weeks back. Would have really liked to give him a chance, but he seemed such a lottery ticket I didn't want to clear a spot for him. |
