I have powerful hitters who should be able to hit deep; but I watch in frustration as my runners on third base rarely get driven in by my "clean up" hitters when my opponents seem to do it with frustrating irregularity. The only thing I could see to do was hire a more agressive manager. Presumably some of this comes down to the quality of the opposing pitcher too? Any suggestions? |

You might look at your cleanup hitter at bats and see if they are largely fly balls, line drives or ground balls. Some hitters tend to produce different type of hits & outs as do pitchers. Steve |
