I've got quite a few players in the minors who the system recommends I should call up. Below are some of the players. I'd be curious to get some feedback on who should actually be called up versus who needs more time in the minors.

Don Robison

This guy is intriguing. He's still 26, but has quite a bit of growth left in him. He has a terrible fastball, but his other attributes are/will be pretty solid if he meets his potential. His minors stats are pretty good as well. Is it too late for this guy to grow to his potential? Should I cut him?

Marvin Jacobs

Has A LOT of growth left and is only 22, but he has the "may have learned all he can at this level of competition" message. He is nowhere near ready for the majors with his poor PD, but his potential is so high I don't want to stunt his growth by leaving him in the minors too long.

Ramiro Sanchez

Thoughts on what to do for this guy? His hitting attributes are not and will not be great, but he's had decent stats in the minors. I've kept him on the roster this long with the hopes of grooming him into a SS. Will his defense be good enough to overcome potential hitting woes. If so, should I leave him in the minors a while until he gets the Capital SS at Shortstop?

Tony Bartley

I assume I should cut this guy, right? Will having a good hitting attribute and has decent speed, but his power attribute will hold him back big time. He also doesn't bring much on the defensive front.

John Kasper

He's 24 and has some room to grow, but has the "may have learned all he can at this level of competition" message. He's been playing 3B in the minors, but I'm starting to wonder if that was a mistake. His hitting is currently so-so, but should improve as he gets closer to his potentially. He's not currently ready for the big-leagues, so not sure what to do with him.

Additonally, will this guy (http://brokenbat.org/player/229541) ever hit his potential?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Robison: Wouldn't be on my team. Too HR-prone, and FIP says he's worse than the ERA he puts up. If you insist on giving him a shot, it's now or never. Won't gain much more of anything in the minors at 26 and will make gains faster in the Bigs. But don't be surprised if he's flammable.

Jacobs: Also probably wouldn't be on my team. If he is actually a 13 POT, he still won't have any BC or PD at maturity. May actually be an OK-ish 3B in LLIV, but don't be surprised if he doesn't get too far over Mendoza with such a low inevitable BC and PD. But more to your question, still has enough room at 22 to gain SI in AAA.

Sanchez: Depends on your current plan. Are you grooming him to replace your SS or your 3B. Not enough offense for 3B, leaving SS. Could step into full-time SS role now. Could gain maybe a few more points of SI in AAA if your current SS is getting it done this season.

Bartley: Agree; he looks like a cut.

Kasper: An unknown. If he's an actual 13 POT, figure 18 more SI. Five into Fielding and five into Hitting, leaving eight for BC and PD. Might hit and get on base, might not. Even if so, doesn't look like he steals, doesn't look like he hits for power. And that defensive build is wonky. Might be OK at 3B, but I like better Arm. All that fielding is mostly a waste in OF. Arguably would have been better to have trained at 2B, but too late for that now. I certainly would cut bait. You might find some use for him, and the GB/FB might help him eek out an extra couple of HR more than you would expect with that Power profile. At 24, could still leave him in AAA. If you have an opening now at 3B, you could put him in and hope he doesn't completely suck.

Hall: Yes, he can still hit his Potential. He gained 11 SI last year, and he's on a similar, if not better pace this year. It'll be interesting to see how he progresses. Might even consider sticking him in your rotation mid-season 2046 (age 23 season) or beginning of 2047 (age 24 season). Many pitchers will gain even more SI in the Bigs. But don't stick him in too early, or you risk stunting his growth.
