I just assume you need a strong arm at third, so i'm a little concerned with my current 3rd Base Player has a 12 arm. How much do you folks think a 12 arm will hurt? His name is Bartolini ID#165263. Any other thoughts about 3rd will be appreciated. Thanks

Here's my opinion. It's not a popular one, but here it is nonetheless.

It's established that fielding and arm are important for a third baseman. The generally accepted number as a passable defender is fifteen of each. I think it should be thirty total.

Unless there is some sort of non-linear benefit to increasing stats, an 18 fielding 12 arm like you have is just as good as a 15 fielding 15 arm.

I would absolutely say he's fine to play third.

I would try and get Mattingly at-bats at catcher. Quiones honestly looks like the odd man out, I don't see how he fits in as more than a backup. Maldonado as a great report but honestly is pretty underdeveloped for his age, common for Latin players in the old draft.

I appreciate it. I'm finally starting to get a glut of halfway decent players, but I'm not sure who to drop this week.

Do you think I'll be able to fill of Maldanado's potential?
