How much do you folks think a 12 arm will hurt? His name is Bartolini ID#165263. Any other thoughts about 3rd will be appreciated. Thanks | ||

It's established that fielding and arm are important for a third baseman. The generally accepted number as a passable defender is fifteen of each. I think it should be thirty total. Unless there is some sort of non-linear benefit to increasing stats, an 18 fielding 12 arm like you have is just as good as a 15 fielding 15 arm. I would absolutely say he's fine to play third. I would try and get Mattingly at-bats at catcher. Quiones honestly looks like the odd man out, I don't see how he fits in as more than a backup. Maldonado as a great report but honestly is pretty underdeveloped for his age, common for Latin players in the old draft. Updated Wednesday, November 20 2019 @ 2:47:53 pm PST |
