crackit Joined: 05/15/2013 Posts: 315 Anchorage Lawless IV.4	I want the benefit of players opinion / experience rather than an analysis. I picked up the A's om 13th May with a win-loss record of 11-10 .524pct +14 RD All seemed to be going well at the half point of the season; 51-29 .638pct +96 RD but since then the wheels appear to have fallen off. 19-21 .475pct -3 RD since the all star game. My pitching ERA was 3.23 is 3.67 before and after the mid-point. My average, OPS and SLG has gone from .265 .332 .474 to .243 .321 .406 I rose to first but have fallen back to third again, 4 games behind. Is this just normal fluctuations or is it likely I have made changes that could have this impact? I have probably "fiddled" to much but have checked back and not done too many things I regret on reflection. What is your experience? Would you sit back and hope the numbers level out or would you try to make changes to try to get out of the division?

tetrahydroc Joined: 02/19/2013 Posts: 153 Inactive	personally, i would say its just evening out over the course of the season, you do have some older players though who in my experiences have tended to play worse for me then younger guys with less overall. granted im fairly new and have really only kept the older guys that performed well for me, and most over 31 have not performed well
