I just finished my first season at the helm of the Bradenton Bruins, and have accumulated my fair share of seemingly promising prospects. However, I'm struggling to figure out what position they are best suited for based on their defensive outlook. While some of them say they will become amazing in the field, their base fielding attribute is very low so I find it hard to believe that they will amount to reliable infielders.

My question is when the scouting report says that they will be amazing, outstanding, or solid in the field, does that directly correlate with the fielding stat or does it take into account range and arm?

If anyone with experience has the time to look over my minors system, and suggest which positions I should be playing my guys, that would be greatly appreciated.

The fielding comment relates only to fielding ability.
Range is how many balls they will get to.
