If I see a player with an ERA around 5.00 in a league/division 2 I would give him more consideration then if he was in L/D 6? Right? Or am I missing something here? Thanks. | ||

I've seen enough players (especially pitchers) who put subpar performances at lower league level but won Cy Youngs at mid-high levels. And vice versa, there's plenty of players whose numbers went down after they moved from higher league to lower one. LL.VI is probably an exception nowadays due to larger presence of bots, but I wouldn't put much difference between LL.I to V. Updated Tuesday, July 23 2019 @ 2:28:14 am PDT |

As I rose through the ranks, I noticed some guys shutdown after reaching the next level. Some players just won't perform at the next level, but some will perform just fine. I've actually started to rely more on the minor league numbers, since those are equivalent competition for everyone. But I also factor in league level. That guy hitting .333 with 40 HRs in LL-VI might not do the same in LL-III. But the guy performing in LL-1 may do even better in LL-III. Either way, I wouldn't ignore any guy hitting 40 HRs regardless of level. |
