If I just start playing him at second, approximately how long tell he acquires profeciency? Or would I be better served by sending him down to the minors instead? Thank you. | ||

There, you can see his ability at every fielding position. Click on the line to see the actual number. At 31, there's not much point to reach him a new position. But it may be done. (I did it, to a small letter extent) Minor league training is much slower, personally o don't recommend it if not absolutely necessary |

Depends where he starts of course- some are much quicker ..I have seen one go much longer. I don't think minors would help as he is too old. If his fielding is high (say 17 or more) the process won't be too bad ..if it is low (ie under 13 so)..could be painful. |
