I am having a terrible time of 6+ seasons finding a good closer. I inherited one with the team who was good, but old and has retired. I tried one the past few years who was ok...saved 40 last year, but blew 15!

How do you go about looking for a closer? What SI categories do you look for to make or develop a good closer?

I generally just make my best pitcher closer. Probably good if he doesn't give up HRs.

Normally I would say that I go with my best pitcher without a stamina stat, but lately i've been thinking that once my current closer ages out of the role (Adkins) I'll stick with "who can get outs" as my closer since I have nobody fantastic coming up currently.
