Is a pitcher's field, range and arm stats relevant? If so...how? Thank you!

I think the consensus is minimally, if at all

update: and even if it *is* minimally, I'd much rather have the SI spent on the pitching stats.

So those points for F/R/A are part of your overall SI?

Yes but it gets a little confusing: for pitchers, pitching stats (left column) cost 1.25 SI per point. Defensive stats (right side) cost 0.5 SI per point.

One more question. So ideally, one would want as few points as possible in the F/R/A when drafting or acquiring a pitcher? All the more for your pitches...yes?

Pitchers defensive skill do factory into team defense...but it's pretty much eclipsed by their pitching contribution to the defense.

A high fielding pitcher will make fewer errors, a pitcher with better range will help his defense more etc.
