Started a little under a week ago, feel like I was given a pretty good team but they seem very old, both the main roster and many of the minors. How big of a problems is this, if even at all. How old is too old/when should players be fazed out the the team.
Thanks.

Looking over your roster, your 35/36 year olds should be cut, theyre not doing much for you - the other vets still look worthwhile as long as you're fighting for promotion or avoiding relegation.

Your 2 11 pot's in the minors can be cut, and any of the guys over 25 in the minors in your case - decide whether to bring them to the majors or cut them - FWIW - De Jesus doesn't look worthwhile, same with Stump. Any of the others look good, Zuniga, might be worth putting at AAA for a bit.

Its a good team, good luck and enjoy the game!

That's a good team you have there, if a little old, and it looks like replacing your old pitching will be an issue. At the minors level Zuniga needs that AAA time to have any shot, but he has high range and arm so probably doesn't have huge upside. Love should be decent but I don't have high hopes for Olivera. I'd be tempted to give Ruth more AAA time even though he's got the call, eight games there is on the small side.

On the hitting side your majors suffer from a severe lack of range, but your biggest problem here is the lack of a proper fielding SS. Pellegrino simply doesn't have the Range, so you need to find someone with ideally 15+ in all three defensive attributes, or as close to it as you can get - it'll help all your defensive metrics, pitching and so on. O'Connor is your best C because he has the Arm for it, but Hendricks bat has to play somewhere, 1B/DH most likely. Ontivaros has been really good but doesn't have ideal (15+) Range for 2B, but Stuckey does. You really lack range in the OF, which will be hurting your defence.

Have to agree with JJ on DeJesus and Stump, but overall a good minors system with some space to add players. Good base to work from!

yeah had to do a little rearranging for the last game update, had some injuries. main thing is not having a true ss anywhere in the org.
is a defensive middle infield > than an offensive one? pelle and stuckey dont seem like they get much done on offense and I dont turn any double plays it seems.

thanks for the feedback appreciate it!

Ideally you have both, but a good defensive SS helps all your pitching and thus all your defence. A good defensive 2B to pair with him is nice but by the same token, having a pair of hitters who can't hit will drive you up the wall. If you can find two elite players then great, otherwise try finding balance - like pairing a good hitter with a good defensive replacement for the late innings.
