Ol Buck has been continually inserted into a position during spring training he has never played before and it's not his primary or a secondary position management has assigned him in the line-up or as backup. In fact the computer unassisted assigned him a 2b designation position and again, Buck never played the position in 2 seasons with our organization and it's not a secondary position selected by management in the minor league secondary assignment section. |

My major request for additional assistance was how this player received a listed 2b secondary designation having never played the position in 2 seasons. In minors his secondary position selected by management is OF and the statistic records well indicate that is where he has played. |

Not really a surprise the manager put him at 2B for spring training. Spring Training is the real squad and the real major league manager. Not a development minor league manager. The real manager plays guys at positions they can play. He only has 100 games in the OF. After you have worked on him in the minor leagues for longer he will start to the learn the OF. Then the major league manager will actually play him out there (unless there are better options). |
