Crazy Li Joined: 01/25/2015 Posts: 879 Inactive	Everyone has to pass through waivers first after being released and then once that expires if there are no claims, THEN they go to Free Agency. Post Sept 1, those released players are frozen in limbo until the season's over before hitting the waiver wire, but otherwise, same rules apply. Updated Wednesday, February 8 2017 @ 6:16:49 pm PST
