Such as your long term perspective, suitable backups, current financial situation. However at the core, you must consider if they are worth the current salary. In my opinion 3.25 million for a reliable closer is a steal. My closer Felix had an off season, but having a pitcher that can put away for me is worth his 5.50 million. It helped get the promotion. |
