After the season "flips": Week 1: No games (the World Classic tournament takes place). Waivers/free agency reopen. You will be able to make your Round 1 draft. No training update this week. Week 2: Spring training games. First training update of the season. 2nd round draft pick can be made with this update. Week 3: 3 more spring training series, and then the season starts on the Monday with the first round of the cup. The season could flip as early as this coming weekend, though sometimes it is delayed a little. Updated Thursday, September 15 2016 @ 4:56:51 pm PDT

If you have a higher wage guy you plan on replacing for next season you might want to give him his walking papers now and save a little wage expense.
