Oh boy.

I got that message with Montanez. I had him in AAA before he was 25 so I called him up that season. This season he got that message.

Should I put him back in AAA and see if he pops? I do have a replacement for him, and I could afford to do it with my lineup looking good for league 5.

Yeah, I'd try Montanez at AAA for at least Spring Training, and if he pops at all, I might even leave him down til the All-star break. He had virtually no time at AAA, and since he already got the "no more room for improvement" message, it may be the only hope of him hitting his full potential.

Another thing you can try is just putting him down on Thursday night. Then bring him back up and put him in the lineup before the games start.

I've tried this and not had much luck, but there isn't too much to lose anyhow as he won't grow much as is.

And as Newtman advised. Nothing to lose putting down in AAA for spring training.
