Based on minor league playing time, I am thinking Marcos Luna and Federico Palacio are currently underdeveloped. Yay or nay?

Palacio is 21 in AA. He is right on track. Might even promote to the majors before he turns 25.

Luna is 20 and in AA. Same story at Palacio. I wouldn't be surprised if either of these guys got the nod at 24. But regardless, I don't think they are underdeveloped.

I agree they are tracking okay, I'm just wondering if they're behind on SI.

Na. I think they are doing fine. They aren't those super developed guys who are ready at 21 or 22, but I think they are on track for their age.

As far as I can tell, everyone who gets recommended for the majors turns out (assuming they get sufficient playing time). I rarely look at SI on minor league guys anymore. As Rock suggested, its all age and placement. SI becomes a consideration when they are 25 year old minor league bootees.

Butler is the first example who comes to mind. Was drafted with 0 hitting. A season and a half later he still had 0 hitting. It was up to 6 by the time he got to AAA. Been adding 3-4 points per season in the majors, and has turned out fine.

So ya, both those guys are in great shape. Find something else to worry about. :)

I think Palocio is doing well and be a decent catcher and backup 3b.
I would give Luna this season to catch-up offensively because of past gains and I think he could play numerous positions better than average.

When I drafted Amador at age 18 he had 0 control... he had 20 control by mid season of his age 25 season (2027).

Any other concerns?
