I have a feeling that even if I gave him all of the playing time he could handle on the big squad that he would still only gain 7-8 points tops. Should I even bother trying or just release him? Your guy still can do the same. Edit: If he doesn't grow a full 7+ SI in his first ML season then he won't pan out and you should cut your losses, because he is one of those guys who just doesn't learn skills for whatever reason.
