Feels like each team deserves one decent player pick-up each season, so by allowing any teams who have axed their first round pick by this second unused Friday get to draft another player. Essentially it's a stand or hit decision. Probably going to be a controversial idea, but would hopefully go some way towards everyone going into each new season enthused about a new signing, and avoid having to completely restructure the draft. In a related random fact, is there supposed to be a spring training game at 6:00 PM PDT today...? Because that same events page says so.
