Tiger504 Joined: 06/17/2014 Posts: 1314 Kalamazoo Bloody Tigers III.4 | Any idea how many at bats it will take for a player to be competitive for rookie of the year. I've never had a player win one so I don't have much to base it on. Is 300 enough? And yes, I know it's the training updates that actually determine whether they're a rookie but I'm just talking about stats. |

Seca Joined: 05/05/2014 Posts: 5201 Waterloo Dinosaurs Legends | The winner in my league last season batted .225 and played LF. My lad batted .250 and played SS / 2B. He finished a distant 3rd in the voting. The winner had 580 ABs. My guy 350. So games / ABs get a decent weight. Part of it is just amassing more numbers in those ABs. Ie., My guy had a similar HR/AB, but was 8 HRs back due to the AB difference.
