Crazy Li Joined: 01/25/2015 Posts: 879 Inactive | I assume MLB rules apply so: A player shall be considered a rookie unless, during a previous season or seasons, he has (a) exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues; or (b) accumulated more than 45 days on the active roster of a Major League club or clubs during the period of 25-player limit (excluding time in the military service and time on the disabled list). |

Seca Joined: 05/05/2014 Posts: 5194 Waterloo Dinosaurs Legends | In BB, once a player has had 4 training updates at the major league level, that is their rookie sason. Ie., you call up a minor leaguer with 3 RL weeks left in the season. He will still be considered a rookie the following year (from an awards point of view).
