However, they just dont have the attributes to warrant a call-up (in my mind) Should they be called up? Should they stay in AAA? Have they been poorly managed and thus will never reach their potential? Any help would be appreciated |

His control is negative as well so don't waste your time with him. The other one still has a chance to develop, but again, with negative control I wouldn't gamble on him. |

As suggested, Dunn is a lost cause. he is 27. At most, he could gain probably 35-38 SI before hitting 29, and that leaves him as a mid 80's SI with really low control for the majors level. Not likely to reach higher than what a 10 potential would, cut him. Orta can get most of the way to his 13 potential (might hit the invisible majors wall in development though that some experience). I would say that low control is really only viable if you have a premium fastball comment, and i only really think to use them as a reliever typically. I have two on my team, and i happen to think that both are probably better than the SI showing (as in, what you see in SI isn't exactly what the player is). |
