For example, if you player is designated as the starting pitcher then his hook & pitch count may be increased and if he's designated as the closer, his earliest inning used is probably pushed back in the game. Townsend's stolen bases did drop off considerable. He did move up from Rookie to A-ball. I'm guessing the catchers in Rookie ball weren't much of a challenge for him and he just ran wild. Guys got good speed though. Steve |
