No matter what I do I can't get the pitching management right. Can somebody please help??

For example:
I have my ace starter Robert Adkins set on 110 pitch count and hook 12.
If he is pitching well, I want him to throw 110 pitches +/- a few...my bullpen is weak.

He keeps getting taken out of games early, even after 6 innings and 80 pitches where he has a two hit shut out going!!

like this game: http://brokenbat.org/game/1728510
or this game:http://brokenbat.org/game/1729018

I just can't seem to figure out how to set my pitchers up to have the starter stay in until he hits his pitch count or he is getting shelled.
I don't see other managers complaining about this so I'm guessing it is my settings...
Can anyone spot my mistake?
Thanks.

This is weird, even your manager has 5 patience, so he should be letting him pitch. Your settings look fine, maybe it's just variance... I have similar settings for my starters and they go very deep into games.

I have the same issue, my manager has high activity if that matters here.

Managers patient has no real effect
Scouting report states " has stamina to be starter" not that he can "throw all day" though his SI would make you think that
Looks like you are mostly using him in a 4 man rotation so there may be times he starts at less than 100%

He is always 100% rested.
I've even tried to change closers, and set closers to come in no earlier than the 8th.
It is very irritating to not be able to control the conditions that a starter is pulled and even more so when the reliever comes in early and blows the game!! lol

Maybe your fatigue settings for him are at ++ or +?

Both of those we're save situations, and your closer came in. (This overrides hook and pitch count).

If this isn't what you want,
- make inning of entry for your closer 8 or 9
- don't set a closer; hooks and pitch counts will be king in a save situation

I think the only solution is for you to drop Adkins from your team Freddy, its obviously just not meant to be ;-)
