To be clear, I'm not asking if the selection is random, I'm talking about the order the players are awarded to their new teams. I'm trying to figure out how many spots one needs to clear for possible roster claims. For example, let's suppose there are two guys someone is attempting to claim. One has only a few claims, while the other has dozens. Is there any way to know which will be claimed first? The one with only a few claims is marginal and not very important, but the other is a stud. It would be horrible to get the claim on the guy who isn't vital only to be knocked out of the drawing for the everyday starter due to only having one roster spot. I'm hoping the player with the most claims goes first and the lottery continues down to those with only one claim being last, but I don't know if that's the case. |
