Broken Bat Baseball 		Hi Everyone,

As I'm still pretty new to this game I'm having a bit of a hard time understanding whether the minor leaguers I've invested in are ever going to amount to anything.

Are there any players in my current line-up I should give up on? At what point do people make this call?

Broken Bat Baseball 		Personally, I'd be pretty quick to cut any prospect with "Above Average Potential". They just have such a low ceiling that the wait for them isn't likely to be worth it. Maybe look through a few of these free agents and see if any would be better investments until you get some draft picks that are more talented:

Broken Bat Baseball 		Thanks for the advice there - that's really good to know... I was planning on having a cull of some of my minor leaguers rather than replacing them as I need to reduce the wages bill at the moment; but thats a really helpful starting point - thank you!

Broken Bat Baseball 		No problem. I'm pretty new myself. My strategy has been to stock my minors with as much talent as possible. Somewhat at the expense of my major league squad. Some of the more experienced owners might have a better idea of how to go about it. Good luck o/

Broken Bat Baseball 		Yeah, I think once your roster is near the maximum, you should probably cut the weakest player and try to grab a better youth. Especially earlier in the season when the prospect pools are still stocked pretty well.
