RippaB Joined: 03/22/2014 Posts: 1 Inactive	I am interested in knowing how to predict Plate Discipline progression. It seems that players gradually get better as they progress through the minor leagues, and this plays a role in where they are assigned. Can this trait potential be seen in scouting reports for younger players, such as connected with the the potential to be a great hitter? Updated Saturday, April 19 2014 @ 9:21:13 pm PDT

crackit Joined: 05/15/2013 Posts: 315 Anchorage Lawless IV.4	Steve will probably answer this one, but I believe that scouting reports give no information on bat controls or plate discipline as this is harder to determine when players are young. I think the Skills rating is you only indicator. Similarly, I don't think the scouting reports include anything on the ability to use change of pace.
