It is kinda annoying to me, having to deal with Relievers and Pinch hitter in the first inning, even though I understand it is just silly to complain: an at-bat is an at-bat, regardless of the inning. But it sure screws up career stats and all time records |

Scherzer as a closer on 2 days rest? Sure. Pull your starter before the game for a barrage of openers? OK. IMO it worked, although if it backfired it would have looked like a really stupid managerial decision. Brutal ending, though I'm not sure it made a difference to the final result... |
