admin Joined: 01/27/2010 Posts: 4985 Administrator	There are a lot of players that have multiple infield positions...however, just because you can play 1B doesn't mean you're adept at playing 2B or SS. Thus, all the infield positions are seperate defensive skills. Steve

tc_ferdzz Joined: 11/13/2011 Posts: 135 Inactive	but aren't there some players in MLB that are referred as utility infielders?...they're there cause they can play any infield position and can be substituted in if need... when i say they can play any infield position...i mean it's more of a "jack of all trades, master of none" sorta thing... how about 2 positions...middle infielder and corner infielder?

For example: Lou Jacobson But really, any player can player any position, he can just play some positions better than others. If he has the right skills (fielding, range and/or arm) than he'll be decent at the position without too much playing time there. Steve
