| I've found myself relying more and more on minor league stats, and its difficult with guys who don't get any minor league playing time. Its part of minor league managers' jobs to ensure player development, so they really should be giving these guys at least a few ABs/BFs each week. Proposal: Tweak the team selection AI so that minor leaguers with few than 20 ABs/BFs in a given week have top priority for the starting lineup. The "best" players will still get the majority of playing time, but the overlooked sleepers will at least gain some stats that we can use for player assessment. Anything is better than 0 IPs... |
