I think for all players 24 and under, we can have a young player/rookie of the year award. It's hard for younger players to win MVP of the league, so it would be easier if they could compete for a young player of the year award for each league.

I would like to have a rookie of the year and gold glove awards. The current problem with gold glove awards is that tracking the number of games played at a position isn't kept for a whole season.

Maybe rookie player & pitcher of the year would be feasible. Not sure if it should be based on age or total at bats/innings pitched.

I like awards too, as long as they don’t drive players’ salaries up. Do they?

i think awards would tend to drive wages up...and i think it makes sense...this player has proven that he can be the best (in his tier)...if i was a player looking for big pay hike in my contract...i know that'd be a card i'd play...

Broken bat...if it's in the game...it's in the game...

Salaries are driven primarily by statistics and the league level. There are other factors though.
