Haselrig Joined: 04/13/2014 Posts: 2790 Novi Doubledays III.4	The other benefit I see to moving it up is the elimination of that waiver lull that comes after the dominoes of first round cuts peter out. That lull usually hits me pretty hard each year as things go dead for a week just as the season is getting underway. As waivers aren't available for the current round ten cuts, moving it up a week would give us an extra week to try to improve our rosters. Hard to say one way or the other, but it might bump some of the guys that usually slip over the waiver deadline up enough to be claimed in the current season. Have to see how that would work out.

It potentially improves the skill level of nearly all drafted players (since everyone except 1st rounders would get an additional week of training). Not sure if this is good, bad, or negligible.

PrivateSnowflake Joined: 01/06/2015 Posts: 1166 Bloomington Thunder Legends	Like it. I can get 30+ AB's or maybe 10IP of exp out of the 2nd round pick. 1/2 a full major league exp training week based on IP or PA's is better than nothing at all. Good way to start a career.
