| When we click our nickname we got a simple page with just the username,the ID,the team,mail and joined/last visit dates. But what about a profile picture and some other infos we can put (like our age,birthplace...whatever)? It's not an important thing but..you know...maybe "interesting" for some of us. | In general, I've made it a point of for the site to collect as little information on users as possible. This way, we don't have to worry about a large DB of information that needs extensive security measures etc. We have encryption, but if the FBI can break into an iPhone...then I'm sure the Russians have found a way to influence Broken Bat all-star balloting. Also, we don't install cookies and such...we don't need to know your shopping history, because we're not targeting you with advertisements. Steve |
