Fatigue is still a random occurance, so even if you manually "rest" him by removing from line up, it still would be possible for it to happen during next game
Steve did make a mention a couple months ago of looking at possibility of an energy bar showing fatigue.
Just not sure where it is potentially in development/testing

Development on this is underway. I still have some things to figure out about how it will actually work. May begin a discussion at some point.

Gizmo, fatigue cannot be just random as my catcher gets fatigued after every game he plays now...even with substantial rest before hand(4 days, played 1..fatigued for the forth time in a row)

It is currently random, you've just had very bad luck.

I trust your knowledge on the game but still find that hard to believe...maybe a glitch?

No, random does not mean equal or even in small samples. Random occurrences can happen four, five, or more times in a row even with rather low odds of it happening each time. The odds of it happening may be extremely low, but that doesn't mean that it can't.

@deuce
Tell your catcher to quit watching movies all night long. He might then be able to stay awake at the game.

My catcher Waters had that (IIRC) last season, constantly picking up niggling injuries or fatigue, seemed like every series he picked up a 1 or 2 game injury. Which was fine for rotation but a real pain when he needed the AB and was the better player.
